VIVA Verkehrsmanagement provided three escort vehicles for the task: two BF3s and a BF2. These vehicles initially accompanied the WASEL transporter as it made its way along the A57 to the German-Dutch border. From here, the Dutch company NL Exceptioneel took over the job of escorting the transporter for approx. 60 kilometres through the Netherlands and down to the border crossing in Venlo on the A61 motorway.
At the crossing from Venlo to the A61, VIVA returned to the helm and the convoy continued its journey before finally reaching exit A555 in Cologne-Rodenkirchen. Here, three additional BF4 escort vehicles were used to secure a crossing in front of the factory and to bring the transport to a successful conclusion with no problems whatsoever.
